Hey everyone! My name is Aaron and I am a portrait photographer in the Dallas/Fort Worth area; more specifically Irving. I specialize in children, couples and senior photography. I prefer to shoot in natural light and almost always prefer bold, true colors to muted or desaturated tones.
This blog follows both my personal and professional life. It will have photos from the more recent shoots that I do, places I go and other events I attend. It will not only feature photos of and for my current clients, but is also great for potential clients to see my photos from day to day while getting to know me in a more informal setting than my portfolio site.

The Dressel family is one of the most fun, hilarious families I have ever been around. They have three little boys that are hilarious (one even does the robot, priceless). They were all great sports considering it was broiling outside. Here are a few of my favorites of this awesome family.
It is always awesome catching up with friends. Michelle and Lavanda are former coworkers of Whitney and mine at Outback Steakhouse in Abilene, TX. After moving back to Texas we reconnected with Michelle here in Dallas, and then a couple of weeks ago, with Lavanda when she came to visit Michelle.
Lavanda is a photographer/dental assistant in Abilene, so we swap stories every now and again. She thought it would be fun to go out have a little fun in front of the camera for a change. So we went down into Deep Ellum in Dallas which has quite a few awesome backdrops. They looked amazing and were awesome models! Here are a few of my favorites of Michelle and Lavanda from the session.
We’re back! douglas Paige photography is officially back with a new logo, new website, and a redesigned blog! This is the first a a couple of photo shoots we have done recently so come back and check out the rest of the awesome shoots!
Kelli and Stephen are a great couple that we met after moving back to Dallas. Kelli works at Children’s Medical Center Dallas with Whitney. They are getting married in October and so we asked them to model for us! They participated in the Warrior Dash that consists of a 3 mile obstacle course that includes climbing walls, ropes courses, mud pits and even running through fire. We grabbed them after they finished, still covered in mud, and got a few fun shots of them. The rest of the more traditional shots we got in old town Forney, TX. Here are a few of my favorites from the sessions!
